On Saturday 11 May 2024, our esteemed international partner school, the New York Film Academy (NYFA), hosted a special event at our Black Box Theatre.
They conducted informative sessions and engaging Acting Masterclasses that were open to those interested in potentially applying to them. Numerous attendees took part and delivered monologues during the Masterclasses, receiving feedback from the NYFA representatives.
For students aspiring to pursue their studies locally, Act Cape Town provides; professional, accredited, and internationally recognized qualifications. These programs are designed to equip students with the skills needed to navigate the demands of the film and theatre industry, both locally and abroad. Additionally, our partnership with NYFA establishes an educational pathway and credit transfer options to NYFA’s degree and postgraduate courses for further academic pursuits.
